Scientific Archaeology PhD Candidate, with a First Class BA (Hons) and MA in Classics and Ancient History. I am a published historian with top peer-reviewed journals and books. 
I teach at the University of Liverpool and University of Manchester, and work with some of the world's most prestigious institutions, such as the British Museum and University of Oxford. My research involves me getting hands-on with priceless treasures from the ancient past, such as Egyptian gold, Roman gemstones, and even the oldest known structure in the world!
My research brings together Biology - micro-analysis of wood from the oldest known structure in the world - Chemistry - spectroscopy composition of materials - Physics - field-leading expert in electromagnetic observations using microscopy.
