"I cannot recommend Jordan enough. My daughter, Isobel, has always been a keen reader, but when it came to the analytical side of the English Literature GCSE, she hit a real brick wall. Jordan changed everything. He taught her how to build an argument from the ground up. She went from a predicted Grade 5 to achieving a Grade 9."Claire HigginsParent — GCSE English Literature
"I honestly never thought I'd enjoy a Maths lesson, but Jordan changed that. He's a former Head of Maths, and it shows in his precision. He spotted the gaps in my knowledge immediately and helped me work through them. I finally feel like I'm in control of the paper rather than the other way around."Maya SharmaYear 11 — GCSE Higher Maths
"Jordan doesn't just teach dates; he tells stories. I was struggling with the Tudor rebellion modules. Jordan's enthusiasm is catching — he'd bring in primary sources and archaeological perspectives that made the period feel three-dimensional. He is genuinely invested in his students' success."Chloe MillerYear 12 — A-Level History
"It's rare to find a tutor who can navigate all three sciences with such ease. Jordan's background in archaeological science brings a real-world perspective to the lessons. He explains Physics concepts using analogies that actually make sense. I went into my Chemistry practicals feeling so much more confident."Harry FletcherYear 11 — Triple Science GCSE
"The 13+ process is incredibly high-pressure, but Jordan was the calm in the storm. He focused on my Verbal Reasoning and Essay technique, but more importantly, he taught me how to manage exam nerves. We were absolutely delighted when our son was offered a place at my first-choice school!"Ashley PetersonParent — Common Entrance (13+)
"Jordan is amazing with little ones! He uses the Oxford Reading Tree system so effectively and makes learning to read feel like a total adventure. His patience is endless — my 4-year-old son adores him and is already starting to sound out complex words."Lucy HendersonParent — Reception / Early Years
"Jordan's help with my Master's thesis was invaluable. He has a keen eye for academic rigour but delivers his critiques with such kindness. He really helped me refine my research methodology while keeping my spirits high during the mid-dissertation slump!"Eleanor VanceMA Thesis Support
"Toby used to hide his maths homework under the sofa! Jordan's calm, encouraging manner has been a total game-changer. He uses brilliant visual methods that actually make sense to a 10-year-old. Toby now says he 'doesn't mind' maths, which is the highest praise possible!"Mark StevensParent — Year 6, KS2 / 11+

We begin with a free introductory call to discuss the pupil's needs, current level, and goals. This is also an opportunity to ask questions about my approach and experience.
Based on our conversation, I put together a proposed plan of study covering the topics, skills, and areas of focus that will be most beneficial. This is shared and agreed before lessons begin.
Lessons take place online or in person at a time that suits you. Each session is prepared in advance, with materials, exercises, and follow-up work provided where appropriate.
I provide regular updates on progress and adjust the plan as needed. For younger pupils, I keep parents informed with periodic written feedback.
